Roadmap 2025

Hi All,

Just wondering if there is a roadmap or what’s to come for 2025?

Super excited and love the program.

For me i’m looking forward to more features in the 2D drawing space, maybe some ability to utilize components or something similar, would be great to drag and drop a shapr project into an new one and maybe the ability to number parts etc.

What are you guys looking forward to.

I have been asking for what we can expect in 2025 for a long time and have heard nothing back from shapr3D team, good luck getting a answer.

Any roadmaps are a closely guarded secret.

my question to the Shapr3d team is what are we paying for if you do not even tell us users what we can expect as 2025 improvements. Tell me again why I should not switch to Fusion 360.

It would be good to at least get a vibe for what’s coming to keep the excitement coming.

We have some big things coming to 2D drawings this year or…
Look out for some exciting component action

I love the program and am looking forward to growing with it, I just can’t help looking elsewhere occasionally if it can’t do certain tasks.

I could not agree with you more, Could we please hear from SHAPR3D on this issue. WHERE ARE YOU…

You always have to take roadmaps with a grain of salt because they’re long-range plans. For example, I asked when variables would be available as part of parametric modeling and Istvan said by the end of 2024. Well, that didn’t happen.

Well, one reason is the reason I kicked Fusion 360 to the curb and wound up here: They have shown they will sharply hike prices whenever they want, for any reason or no reason. Glad to have Autodesk in the rearview mirror.

So Roadmap might not be the right word, it sounds too formal. But we know there is the Private/Investment, Private/DEV, and Marketing Private/Public Roadmap, unless Shapr is a noob at business.

For the user after the big push with Parametric they gone somewhat silent. So the public assumption is no more new features and this is all they have and all we get.

Maybe a virtual 2025 keynote, a 2025 upcoming blog post? We know there are lot of minor improvement of life features that are missing. If they incrementally released these items the public wouldn’t even think of asking for Roadmap.
