Hello. Is it possible in Shapr3D to rotate an element without specifying the rotation angle numerically, but instead determine the angle directly from the drawing?
For example, I would like to:
Select the center of rotation.
Select a reference point or direction.
Select a target point or direction.
The object would then rotate by the angle between the reference and target directions, as is possible in many other CAD/modeling programs.
I haven’t been able to find a way to do this in Shapr3D. Is this functionality available?
There is no direct way in Shapr3D to limit an object’s rotation using constraints or stops. However, there are many different workarounds using sketches or variables.
To suggest a suitable solution, though, we need to understand exactly what you’re trying to achieve. Is there any way you could demonstrate the result you want? Or could you describe in more detail what exactly should move and how it should work?
