As with the previous challenges, your Design History may include only Sketch, Extrude, and Construction tools.
Just a friendly reminder: using a different tool will make your submission invalid. So, take your time to carefully choose your modeling approach!

Once you’ve finished your model, submit a screenshot of your project clearly showing the volume of the final object via this link.
Make sure to follow the submission guidelines listed in the form and send your entry by September 3rd, 23:59 CEST.
We’ll check each submission against the challenge requirements, and all successful entries will earn their place on the leaderboard.

One important rule
Please don’t share your solution or the final body volume until the challenge is over.
You’re still encouraged to discuss the challenge, ask questions, compare ideas, and share your general approach — just keep the final answer under wraps until the deadline has passed.
And if you get stuck, ask the community! Someone may be able to give you a useful hint or point you in the right direction without spoiling the solution.

I like to print out the drawing so I can keep it next to my iPad while working. At the moment, I first have to invert the colors and then convert the image to black and white before I can print it properly.
I think other users might find this useful too. Would it be possible to include a printer-friendly black-and-white version of the drawing?
Whilst there will be many participants that can eat the challenges all day long - especially in respect of using constraints to reverse engineer certain elements of the sketch. For those of us that are perhaps more intermediate or beginning to explore this aspect of design, they are healthy brain teasers that require us to change the way we approach a problem and work through.
For those in the later bracket - a little checkpoint data would be good. So for example in task 3 (boomerang) after completing the main view - some information regarding the area at this stage might give intermediates the opportunity to check their logical before progressing. This might not have to be on the drawing but could be in the text for those that want to use it - or could perhaps be published after the race to secure the initial top spots.
Whilst this does make the task slightly easier perhaps for the higher skilled user - it does provide the intermediate with a dopamine feedback after initial work.
I suppose it depends on the overall objective - does the community want a small number of people with the correct answer or a larger number of people with the correct answer and a hunger to learn more.
As an older beginner myself, I actually don’t want intermediate checkpoints. I want to figure it all out completely on my own!
Adding checkpoints makes the challenge easier, which takes away from the experience. Anyone is free to participate, and while some might think it’s too difficult, there are so many resources available today—like AI—to help you learn and overcome hurdles if you really want to.
For me, the real satisfaction comes from pushing through the difficulty and finding that final volume completely on my own!
You can’t use sweep, but you can use the automatic boolean operations selections (New Body, union, intersect, subtract) you get when extruding sketches.
