The export from X_T to STEP completes without error but the results when viewed on a 3D print slicer such as this Anycubic workshop or Bamboo lab show a very degraded surface and glitches.
The models in X_T are very smooth until its converted to STEP.
So you imported Parasolid into Shapr and with shapr exported STEP files which you imported into the slicer program?
Bit confused what Shapr is doing here other than my guess above.
Because Bambu can’t import X_T but can import STEP files.
So in Bambu you can set resolution when you import STEP files (not sure about anycubic software). It’s the slicer software that is converting to a mesh not Shapr.
Yes, Ive now realised that its the Slicer software that is causing this appearance. Having returned the STEP file back to Shapr3D its looking fine.
all is fine
