Do the shapr has option of 3D design for sheet metal like various operation like bending , cutting extruding notching
No, at the moment we don’t have features specifically for designing sheet metal parts. It’s definitely something that’s on our radar, but we don’t have a date for it yet.

Is there any update on a sheet metal function yet.
It would change everything and you’d see everyone make the switch.
Sheet metal function like fusion or solidworks for example. Would make shapr3d the best and I would be using it more often as I do have a paid version, however using other programs because of this.

Hi,
The couple Shapr3d and Onshape works very well. You can work on sheet metal model and export (.stp) to Shapr3D.
Personally, I use the free version of Onshape.
Thanks but I have enough programs without wanting to add another. Not much point using onshape and shapr in my opinion. I’d would just use onshape in that case. However don’t want onshape. Defeats the purpose.
