Sketch/Stencil to solid object

Hi everyone, I’m sorry to ask I’m still very new to this application but I’m really stuck here and could use some help. I’ll try to add as much information as possible, please forgive the ignorance. I have a stencil that I created with lines that I’m trying to make into a solid object but I have no idea how to do this or if this is even possible. I’m using a windows pc for reference. This is kind of a skeleton of an object I want to make but I’m looking to make the entire middle area solid and extrude from it.

The object cannot be a skin. It has to be an enclosed sketch like a container if you will. You cannot extrude a line into a 3d object in shaper. You cannot make a sheet of paper like object with no thickness. What you can do is draw the side profile with very close lines, enclosing them into a container that can be extruded.

A workaround is to use the offset tool to offset your profile by any number greater than 0 and then closed the ends to make an extrude-able container.
