Sketches from Objects

Hey there! I was wondering if the app is able to generate sketches from objects.

I made an object using sketches and then I made some alterations to the object. The sketch obviously doesn’t reflect the new dimensions of the object. So how do I get the new measurements in the sketch without having to update it manually?

I feel shapr3D should be able to read the new object and make the new sketch.

Hide the original sketch plane, and create a new plane (offset it some amount) then use the Project tool to project the shape of the body onto that plane.

Ah perfect! This works. Just to be curious, is there a way to do the same but with an imported OBJ or FBX model?

I’ve never imported those formats, so I’m uncertain. But if you see the body, I think Project will work.
