Spline doesn’t work with Apple pencil 1 on iPad 9

Helllo,
I just bought Apple pencil gen 1 (the price is about 99 US dollar), when i draw spline, i got line instead of spline, then i try used the trackpad of keyboard, everything Okey, is my pencil not original ?

Hello! Please do not lift off the pencil from the iPad screen while you move between the control points. When you are at a place where a control point should be placed, just push the pencil towards the screen. You will hear a clicking noise and the control point is placed.
