Creating a very specific, reproducible spline is possible, but the steps are difficult and often require trial and error to get the right number of points on the spline.
Things that would really help;
Being able to add and remove spline control points,
Document the force of a point based on distance so I can convert to other cad apps,
and as mentioned in another thread, the ability to add dimensions to the spline that are relative to a construction plane or axis

Better spline editing capbilities are on the roadmap and coming this quarter.
