Hi All,
Facing a very simple problem, but I cannot seem to find the feature to help me do what I need to do.
I need to create a rectangle block, where the top of the rectangle is 52x52mm and the bottom is 48,5x48,5mm.
I know I can use extrude and draft, but the latter doesn’t allow me to set the dimensions of the top or bottom surface.
The below is purely a example picture but hopefully gives you an idea.
I am probably missing a very simply trick, currently doing a course on Udemy, but I haven’t come across how to do this.
Many thanks,
Rohan

Hi Rohan,
The tool you need is Scale.
Starting with your 52 x 52 x 45 rectangular solid, scale the top face down by a factor of 0.9327
Hope this helps.

Good suggestion by Bob.
You could alternatively use Loft, after drawing the two squares and setting them the required distance apart.

Thank you both for your option, these will both work perfectly. Many thanks!
You can also use the calculator within Scale to get the correct reduction (48.5 / 52)

Thanks, Mike! That is better than using calculator with truncated result.
Hi All, ended up using Scale with the calculator function works like charms. Thanks all!
