Twisted cilinder how to model

I am trying to model the leg of this table. It basically is a cylinder, cut in half and then twisted. I feel there is a way to do this that is smart and quick using maybe loft or sweep but having an hard time finding a way.

Any suggestion/help?

A guided loft is probably your best bet. You’d have to create profiles of unique and critical cross-sections and then guide a loft through them.
