The current angle of this model is around 38 degrees. I need to change it to something around 70 degrees. I’ve tried using the move tool but it either tells me it can’t complete the operation or it gets very distorted in a way that isn’t close to what I intended.
Hello and Welcome !
The best thing for this kind of piece is to model it in parametric. This facilitates enormously the changes coming.
Look at the 2 screenshot I’ve attached (the coin is not exactly consistent with yours but it’s the principle that counts).
You will see that the first sketch has an angle of 38°. You can then just change this dimension (70° or 90° for example) without having to touch the others.
Thanks. How do I go about doing that?
Hi,
I advise you to browse the tutorials before launching.
This is the basis.
You can choose the ones that are closest to your request. First of all you need to understand the concept of sketch, parametric modeling, etc…

Using the Move-Rotate tool, does this help?
It works only after you temporarily remove the fillet radii. Shown are two different pivot points.
Well done TigerMike.
But with parametric, just a dimension to change and I have no deformation and I can keep fillets.
Welll, to itguy1024 to choose.
Late follow up. Thank you @TigerMike that did it. I think the radii was causing my issue.
