Is it possible to creat a 2D drawing from a sketch?
I find myself more and more needing to draw out 2d floor plans. It would be great if I could just print out and 2D sketch. I love the program, and would hate to have to switch to Sketchup, but I need to produce 2d plans with custom title block etc…

Tim, not directly from a sketch, at least not at this time. Shapr3D was created from the ground up for 3D designs. However, if you give your sketch a tiny bit of thickness, i.e.: extrude it a small amount, you can then create 2D drawings from that body. Ignore all views, and choose only the Top view when creating the drawing. I tend to use the Sketches menu to do this. McD
