2D scaling?

Newbie here.

Tried searching but didn’t find anything or didn’t know the correct search terms. I traced a part roughly from a photo that I can clean up after the fact, the problem I’m having is how do I adjust the size of the drawing based on a known dimension? I know the distance between mounting holes but how do I do it is the question?

There might be easier or more accurate ways to do this, but here is one example of switching from cm to inches: 2-D Scaling - YouTube

I recommend to scale the image to the correct dimensions before tracing from it.

I scaled the drawing to fixed points like you said and redrew it. That was easier. Thank you.
