5.1000 – Display Modes and grid visibility

Control your workspace and visuals more easily with updates to Display Modes and grid visibility.

  • New: Shaders and Surface Analysis options have been reorganized into a dedicated menu for Display Modes, making it simpler to switch between Shaded, Visualized, Zebra, and Curvature Map views.
  • New: Grid lines and the world axis can now be shown or hidden from the Appearance menu for a cleaner workspace setup.
  • Improved: Shaders now include a Wireframe option that displays only body edges without faces. You can toggle it on or off to inspect geometry and edge flow more clearly.

Hello,

I would like to ask you, the grid is possible turn off only out of sketch mode? Because when I turn off the grid and go for sketching, the grid is visible again. And when I go to Apperance while I sketching, I don’t see Show Grid option to turn it off.

Thank you for your feedback

And still no modeling tool additions.

Hi Jeriz and team,

Could you please consider making the a pre 5.98 version available for the iPad??

I’m deeply frustrated, that we now have to press “more” to get to move/rotate and pattern. So unless you can give a hint that a iPad UI overhaul is very close, then I’m switching to green, when my subscription is up.

Probably before, if we can’t get and older version.

The inability to turn of the sync to cloud is a huge dealbreaker too… Any plans at all to address that?? Or are you simply hoping we will forget and stop bitching about it???
