Advanced/easier calculation tools in variables/parameters

I’d love to build a series of generators for various applications, be it stairs, railings, fences, etc.. For the assessment of necessary dimensions some of those require structural analysis, which includes figures and units going to magnitudes up two 4 (eg. 1.243.336 mm4 for a planar inertia moment). The computational modules for the variables are either clumsy to operate or don’t easily tolerate input values outside of length (mm), angular (deg) or unitless (n), etc.; Possible workarounds with multiplying or dividing by (1 mm) quickly confuse or clutter up the (also quite small) input field.

Brief description of the outcomes that you expect from this feature:

I’d love to automate planning load-bearing structures in an easy and intuitive way and by implenting “advanced” calculation/input methods I could get rid of my calculator, pen&paper approach.

What can’t you achieve without this feature?

Without “higher” means of calculation I’m stuck at using clumsy hotfixes and approximations.

Also I’d love the round()-expression to (optionally) be determined either to round upwards or downwards.

Thank you guys, in general I really appreciate the work you’re doing on this great app!
