AirTag case - modelling review

I’m trying to create a case for my airtag.

  • I created a Sketch of the Airtag. “Revolved” the sketch to create a body and cut it in half.
  • I created the case (a rectangle basically which I extruded and then mirror to create the two sides of the case enclosure
  • I subtracted each Airtag body (Airtag - Top) from it’s case body (Body - Top).

Here’s a Loom video

Is this a good workflow? Should I approach it differently? I have to add the holes for screws also.

Looks OK to me. You’ll want to do an offset face operation on all the cut out faces for tolerance.
