Aligning 2D Sketches

Will not allow me to align 2D sketches together. It always auto snaps past or before the lines when trying to align them perfectly.

For example if you sketch 2 separate 2D Squares in the app and then select one and try to move it over to the other one and align the edges perfectly it simply will not do it.

I found another thread from 2 years ago people having the same issue with no fix.

What is the proper work around for this? Have they really not fixed this issue yet?

Hi @Adv4x4 , in Shapr3D sketches are dimensioned and aligned with constraints. Eg. if you want to make a circle and a line tangent, just select both and click on the Tangent constraint. Currently the “colinear lines” constraint is hidden under Tangent as well, but soon it will get its own button.

You can learn more about how to use constraints in sketching here: https://support.shapr3d.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001416214-What-are-constraints-How-do-I-use-them-
