A really nice feature in Altium is the 2-way mcad ↔ ecad bridge, see: MCAD CoDesigner
Ot would be great to see this in shapr as well. I guess the effort is mainly on Altium’s side, @shapr3d_staff would be super if you can touch-base with them to make it happen. Most should be fairly out-of-the-box as their solidworks integration uses the same basic file formats
