I started modeling again after a month’s hiatus and while the new screenshot options and the wrap and emboss tools are neat I can’t stand that bullshit UPGRADE TO A HIGHER TIER message. Am I really going to have to look at it every time I want to model?
I am not a student, but curious, how much does the educational version cost you per month?
I agree that the placement is misfortunate, but I can imagine a balance must be made between incentive and annoyance. A slightly larger button in the upper right corner might have been a better choice.
@Xdrakosha I suspect I was being a bit too subtle. To be honest, while it would annoy me a bit, the banner isn’t as obnoxious as I assumed it was from the complaints. I was trying to hint that “free” made the banner more palatable but I guess from the fact this topic has come up many times since I have been paying attention that many disagree with that.
At risk of pushing the snark a bit over the edge: Maybe Shapr3D can offer a subscription like how Youtube has Premium for removing the ads, but in this case to remove the banner.
