I use Procreate application to create a photo with the exact size for the detail

Nice approach. I like the look it gives. It has that Industrial design sketch/drawing feel to it.
You should however try out Cadmio:)

Still haven’t figured out how to import a file with multiple layers/items on iPad from shapr3d to cadmio. I can only select a single stl file and shaprd3 breaks and saves all the stl components separately.
You have to export as step to cadmio….But it does require a subscription on both shapr3d and Cadmio
