I work on a HP Envy 2in1 laptop tablet. For some reason when reorienting my view of my model it locks onto one single plane of rotation. Sometimes it will also not let me properly rotate laterally, instead it will roll the model. The only way to escape it is to tap a face on the viewing cube to rest it.

its still doing this, same method you use to āreset itā have you heard any feed back on this?

I get the same thing on my PC.
You typically complete an operation, go to rotate the model and it spins in one axis.
I double click the cube, to send model back to default view.
I have not spotted the pattern to its occurrence yet.
