I’ve included a video to help explain my issue, it’s the only easy way to show you what id like to do on shapr3D.
I’ve also realised that my design could be impossible to print in its current orientation, so I now plan to flip the whole model 180° and print it from the top to the bottom having the top on the printing bed.
Since I’m a new user I cannot attach video files so I had to provide it via a google drive link which is this: Help.mp4 - Google Drive
Thank you
You cannot detach a face from a body. Impossible.
Normally I would create a separate 5-sided box and a separate base.
Here I demonstrated what I think you want to do based on your workflow method in your video.
I created a construction plane at the bottom face and moved it up which would be your wall thickness. Then I used Split Body to separate the base from the housing. Then I Shelled the housing to create the 5-sided box. Shapr3D is great to use and you may consider changing your current workflow methods.

I believe the “Shell” feature will allow you to achieve the desired results.
Thank you, this has worked. It makes perfect sense now that your method makes me create a wall thickness.
