Cannot Import my STEP file

Hello, I am having trouble importing a particular step file. I have open step files before and been able to edit them but for some reason this one is not allowing me to import it. I get an error telling me I cannot import this Step file. I received it over Gmail also if that has anything to do with it. I Cannot provide an uploaded file because I am a new user so if anyone could assist me on how to proceed forward that would be great.

Can you upload it or is it proprietary?

It is not letting me do it due to the fact I am new user since is this first time asking for help on the community page. Although I’d be willing to send it to you in anyway I can if you would like.

The free version doesn’t support STEP import, as you found out.
