Can't get copy to work

Just evaluating Shapr3D for possible purchase, done a few simple tutorials which were ok but have a few issues.

Main one being I cannot get copy to work most of the time. I’ve looked at the docs vides etc but when I click the copy button it says ‘copy on’ but even though my body is selected(blue) I drag and nothing gets copied - it just moves the object .

Any clues?? I think maybe I’m not selecting the object correctly or something…

I’m on MacBook Pro OSX 11.6.3

Are you selecting the entire body by double clicking on it?

Ahh - it seems to work ok if I click on the ‘body’ in the side bar, or double-click as you suggest.
