Compatibility with Linux?

Hmm, I would question this if you haven’t tried recent versions of FreeCAD. While the learning curve is undeniably steeper than Shapr3D, it has a far more comprehensive feature set, and being completely free for both personal and business use, it’s hard to argue that FreeCAD is not the best value for dollar piece of CAD software out there. I’m in the process of learning it because I can’t justify the cost of a Shapr3D subscription, and it is lacking in many features that I would like (fasteners/threading, motion simulation, CAM, robot tool pathing, etc), all of which are supported in FreeCAD. I don’t know how the rendering/visualization compares, that might be the one area Shapr has the edge.
