"Connect" two Sketch planes over a curved surface

Hey there!

Long story short, here are two pictures:

Top Sketch plane

Bottom Sketch plane

As you can see, both upper and lower Sketch planes have lines. The distances between the lines are identical in both planes. Now I want to connect the lines on the upper and lower planes using the curved back.

The goal is to recess the wider spacing on both the upper and lower planes, as well as on the curved back.

I’ve tried various approaches, but I can’t get it to work. Do you guys have any ideas on how I can make this work?

There’s an easier way to do it using Pattern, and then Union the parts.

I did the main body freehand, but you can set the overall length of it and number of ribs to pattern along its length.
