I’m working on an architecture project, what I’d like to do is define some common sketches that I’ll use consistently, for example, a standard “room”, 4.5" thick walls. I can draw 2 rectangles and define constraints of .375’ between each of their edges. When I copy, then want to scale the interior “wall”, I’ve lost my constraints and need to add them again. Offset edge results in the same thing.
I’d like to be able to duplicate these room templates, drag them to size, use the trim tool to remove overlaps or even set more constraints between walls of separate rooms so that the overall structure resizes itself. This is all achievable, but requires re-creating the same constraints which is very time consuming.
