Creating a section of a sphere

Hope all of you are having a great New Year! I’m struggling to create a section of a sphere for a Chapin 8701B corn planter wheel. Attached is an imagine of what I’m describing as well as a screenshot of where I’m at with the design.

As I can only post one picture, here is where I’m at with the design.

I think only you need to do is make a cylinder, rotate it, shell it and trim it.

And do rotating pattern.

Create a sketch ontop the disc. Select the edge of the hole. Use the offset edge.

Draw a line across the new loop.

Jump out of sketch mode and extrude (IMPORTANT “As a new body”).

Use the move tool to angle it downward (not the circely dot thing: “origin”)

Union the plate and the rotated thingy. Make them one!

Flip the part over and use the “Replace face tool”.

And you get this :backhand_index_pointing_down:

At step 3 you can use the Revolve tool…

Loft can be used for that as well.

These are great, thank you both!

The loft with guides might be the best way IF the shape and angle of the “things” are critical for whatever reason. Not knowing it’s function… :man_shrugging:

So I’m working through this and I’m not sure I follow the process of creating a loft. Any suggestions or do you have a video I could follow along?
