Date localization (still) wrong in drawings

Good morning

As there is no “bug” sub forum I post here (o;

The localization of the date in drawings is still wrong:

Here in .ch the date should be (as well as in any German speaking country):

02.01.2023 or 02.01.23

It’s not wrong. It is a European date code, assuming this software was engineered in Europe. The day comes first, then the month.

So…the screenshot was done two days ago…and it wasn’t the first of February (o;

It is wrong this date format…

I see, sorry I just spoke with someone about the same issue so I did not pay attention. So, you date code is US format? It reads 1/2/23 (Jan 2nd, 2023). That was 2 days ago…

Tony

Exactly…

And besides that, we also use dots as separators and not slashes…

So today is 04.01.2023 and not 01/04/2023 (o;

Seems the app is ignoring the underlaying date localization from the OS…

Yes, I just changed my preferences and it had no affect, even though I applied to “all apps”. I tried.

Tony

It’s not just a European thing - most of the world uses day/month/year. Without correct dates on the sheets they might be used in wrong order.
Failing that could we have ISO8601?

Hi,

It’s a limitation that we only support one standard for the date format at this time. The good news is that we have started to work on the title block part of the drawings in general, and with that improvement you will be able also to change the date.
