Double-click inconsistent on MacOS

You probably aware that double clicking a body not working consistently all the time… Couldn’t figure the reason, but noticed it happens after a while during editing and workspace start to fill with bodies. After I close the app and reopen it again, it works fine for a while.
This is very annoying, can you troubleshoot this inconsistent behaviour? It comes with lagging in movement and selections. That’s also frustrating, closing and opening the app over and over.

My machine is MacBook Pro 16" intel based i7, 16GB RAM, AMD Radeon Pro 5300M graphics.

Hi,

It’s very likely that your device is reaching it’s limits in those cases (especially if you work on complex workspaces), and the second click isn’t getting registered by the system anymore. An app restart cleans up some resources, but will fill up again as you work forward.
