Export DXF from 3D Model

I am trying to figure out how I can export my 3D model in Shapr3D into a DXF usable for a laser cutter.
I projected one side of a cube and isolated it. When I export to DXF, the drawing is missing the rectangle representing the perimeter of the side. I have been tinkering with this all afternoon and am frustrated! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Gary

I can try to help. Could you screenshot what you projected in shapr.

Also the screenshot of the import to see what your missing in your lasercut preview.

Hi,
1 . Create the model in modeling mode
2 . Select the body you want to export
3 . Create a Drawing and go to File > Export to DXF

Will only let me attach one pix.

Thankyou! Gary

When I look at your sketch in shapr it looks like its facing the FRONT.

For DXF sketch export you want to rotate it so that sketch is facing the TOP.

Sketch facing Front

Import in QCAD I get this:

Sketch facing Top
