Simple way to store filament samples incorporating 4mm PTFE tube. Only minor drawback is it requires 2 or 2.5mm nozzle to print. I tried 50 on 1 plate. Failed. Tried 18 on a plate, Failed. Printing 1 at a time until I can take the time to figure out why multiples are failing.
I like your connector idea, sometimes you want the swatch on its own!
I started making swatches and added few features for tolerances and for overall QA purposes.
Looks good. In the center you could add the transparency steps. I like the ones with the transparency steps. I learned a lesson in the last name plate I made. Some colors bleed through. Have to rethink how I make them and union them as 1 piece.
If you make two separate bodies next to each other with no gap/ tolerance do they become joined as one when printed so that you can count on them not coming apart? Not optimal for strength I imagine
I designed a 4 puzzle-piece shaped container (pencil/pen holder) with PLA+. The tolerance was too little to slide them apart. I could not get them apart with a mallet hitting them almost hard enough to shatter. I was whacking them pretty hard,
