This is as simple model as can be. Extruded rectangle and then visualization mode. Shadow seems off target?

Here are a few ways you can improve this issue:

Be sure to place the model of interest as close to the origin as possible. The shadows seem to get worse as they get further away from the origin.

Scale your model up. This will make the issue less obvious/perceptible.
