Hard to find the right plane

When I want to change the parameters, to modify the body, hard to find the right plane, in the history tree.

Because no feedback from the circle constraints, and I dont know i’m on the right plane.
Anyway looks good it works it is tsilplane seat.

The “normal” constranints are visible

Another question is: the main goal would be that if I change the inner diameter of the ring, the outer diameter should follow with the size of the wall thickness. Therefore, I started drawing with the inner circle and then used the offset tool.

When you tap on a sketch, it should activate automatically, this looks like a bug to me, let me check with the team. What happens when you tap on the header of the step?

Sketch offswts don’t create constraints at the moment - this will be fixed in the coming weeks.

Also, if you are using a newer iPad with hover support, the Apple Pencil hover will highight the geometries from the steps, including sketches. We’ll be adding more and more hover interactions to the app, as the new iPads support this incredibly useful gesture.

Thanks István!

Yes , the circles not appears,

Would be nice if rename the planes in the folder , visible in the history tree also.

In that case I know where should be manipulate.

Unfortunetly I have an older 12,9 pro (2018)., after the next Apple event will decede how will change

That’s wxactly how it will work. You’ll be able to name all the operations too.

After I deleted the empty sketch planes in the folder structure, I realized. that I searched for the wrong line in the history tree, as you wrote.
My logical mistake was, that I was looking for a sketch plane after offset the circle.
The same name in the folder structure and in the history tree, will help a lot… for me, who is new to HBPM
The offset constraints will very welcome!

Nice! Well, history based modeling can be just as much mind boggling for direct modeling users as the other way around I guess

My workaround in the meantime is using dimensioned construction lines between offset sketches to constrain the offset. So changing the OD of a body changes the ID, for example.

One thing I think saw elsewhere, if you create a sketch plane on the face of a body, and offset the profile of the body, when manipulating the body the offset follows it. I need to test this myself.

Good idea, many thanks!
