Having problems after the new update

After the new updates i can’t tell how am i supposed to select only one face of a model with an apple pencil. I used to simply press once with it and it was done, but now with a single tap the whole body is selected. Any help is much apreciated, thank you.

Hi @GugolMajo, this behavior did not change with the latest update. Probably you are holding the Pencil longer on the screen. Long tap selects the entire body, while a short tap selects an edge or a face.

Long tapping gives me the “half-circle” option, short tapping selects the whole body…

Yes, the circle is normal, that indicates rhe area selection. Can you post a video of the issue?

could thw problem be related to the fact that i imported the model?

Is that an STL file?

yes, it is

Shapr3D can’t edit STL (mesh) files. STL is not a CAD format.
