Height change mechanism

I want to sketch a stick that you can change the height with. By using this Metall button.

I was wondering if one of you ever sketched the following mechanism:

I have not yet de-put it so I don’t know the exact meachanism inside. But I was just wondering if there’s is something like that already existing in this community.

Hi, it’s quite simple, something like in the picture below. In the tube, there should be a leaf or coil spring to lock the button
