I’m following the Tutorial on how to build the Desk Organizer, but I am stuck at the part where I need to subtract the shape. I can’t easily describe it in words, so here are some pictures
Instead of selecting tjust the part I want to cut out, it selects the whole side. How do I fix this?
Looks like you are missing 2 lines to close the shape. Draw lines from the upper right corner to the endpoints of the other 2 lines. Then when you select, it will select the area defined by the closed sketch just like the tutorial.
I think you have to go to your sketch you used for extruding the box. Select that one and then draw the other lines.
