History Tree 'invert option'

No Backstory needed just Get R Done! Don’t overcomplicate simple request.

Oh use your little limited connections! Lets Get R done!

Bringing this to the top of the list again.

Holy smokes I am CONSTANTLY having to scroll to the bottom. It’s unbearable. How is this not a feature already. Doesn’t every user ever have this issue? Do people just not interact with the history?

You, my friend, clearly use the software.

Nothing more needs to be said. Thanks for your support on the thread :grinning_face:

We are working on improving the History user experience in one of the upcoming releases.

That is fantastic news! This is going to supercharge all kinds of workflows!

Looking forward to seeing what you implement!

That’s great! This is really a must-have feature.

I went to this forum because I couldn’t find the ReverseSort for HistoryList, turns out y’all been asking for it for quite some time… :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: Seriously though, a lot of good ideas here. Hope it gets added soon, checking the bottom right corner of the screen instead of the top right feels a bit off. Most apps these days have reserve sorting.

Came back for this after an intensive period of modeling in 3 different programs;

  1. Inventor - Objects + actions in same list, top to bottom
  2. Fusion - Objects in one list top to bottom, actions at bottom of screen Left to right
  3. Shapr3d - objects in left column bottom to top, actions in right column top to bottom

Shapr is the only program with an order inconsistency. When looking for the latest body, I scroll up, but looking for the latest action, I scroll down.

Having the same sorting (latest first) makes the most sense in both lists. Someone wrote having the latest action expanded as well which is a great idea and would have saved me a lot of clicks lately :sob:

Shapr3d is so much faster than the other two mentioned above, but it can be even faster :flexed_biceps::rocket:

PS: Variables should have their own panel and button. They’ve earned that :hugs:
