How can I copy a hole from one item to another?

Hi there

I started trialing the software today.

I imported from a pre-existing step file for a small computer case with a view to altering one or two aspects and then getting them printed.

I’ve deleted all the items I’m not interested in and I’m left with two items representing different flat surfaces of the case. The surfaces have various holes cutout for things like HDMI ports, etc. I have figured out via the videos/tutorials etc how to move/copy these holes within one surface but I can’t figure out how I can copy a hole from one of these surfaces (items) to another?

Is it possible, and if so what’s the secret sauce?

So I figured out one solution and that was to project the hole/sketch/thing from the first body onto the second body. They already happened to line up, but I guess I could always have repositioned them if they didn’t.

I’mnNot exactly sure how I did it but I ended up with the sketch/outline of the hole drawn on the second surface and then I could use the extrude tool as normal.
