How do I make 4 lines turn into a plane?

I have 4 lines and I need to turn into a plane so I can extrude

As long as the lines are all connected then they will become a plane.
(as long as the lines all fall on the same plane)

Only a closed sketch can be extruded. That by definition, in Shapr, is your plane. A sketch is essentially on a plane. If the lines are connected they will extrude.
