How to align a sketch with a model

Hi,
I think I saw this somewhere in my initial watch-everything-I-could-find intro to S3D, but now haven’t a clue where to find it again.

What I’m trying to do is to overlay a sketch on an already built solid. Seems like such a simple thing to do, but I can’t see how to do it.

Thanks.
BTW - I am SO PLEASED to have discovered Shaper3D - it works the way I think, and I am having a LOT of fun. Thanks to the development team.

You can project a sketch on the surface of a body.

Ah, Project again. But doesn’t the sketch need to be aligned with the body first? So I guess I should be asking how to align a sketch with a solid?

Yes, the sketch should be aligned otherwise the newly projected sketch will be distorted. You can align the sketch to the body, or, the body to the sketch.
