The picture shows below is a sample. I want to do something like this.
As you can see the surface completely round shape.
I had tried many ways to project the pattern on this organic shapes body. but it fails.
(the pattern will change after project because of the weigh is different.)
looks like it only can be done on Geometric shapes like cude or square?

the pink part is the place i want to project.
the yellow is the pattern faded part.
I hope someone could tell me how to do this with a tutorial video.

Doing what you want to do with organic shapes are not easy. Here is the result of my trying to taper a curved surface…on a curved surface.
