How to round/chamfer mitered edges?

Does anyone know how to round/chamfer a mitered edge? When I try to round the corner, it rounds the edge of each individual object and not the two joined corners. Using “union” is not an option as I’m woodworking and will be creating a cut list from the model.

Any help is appreciated!

Add a Construction Plane at the mitered surface. Do the Union and the rounded fillet. Then use Split Body to get back to two separate mitered pieces with your desired fillet.
