I’ve been using Shapr3D for a few weeks and really like it, but I’m finding that sometimes I want to preserve the current state of my model for future reference. In fusion I would save my current timeline as a milestone and it would go into a version history that I could view and restore from.
Currently I’m just saving multiple copies of the file but feel like this is suboptimal. Does Shapr3D have a similar feature somewhere that I’m missing?
While I agree there’s opportunity to improve in this area, I save versions of my work to iCloud Files. I give each version a name, and then I can access them and import them as needed. The naming of the files is key to ensure I’m importing the correct version or element of the design. I hope one day we can toggle between projects so we can view a phase of a design in one window, while working on another version or project.
