How to streamline repetitive actions on import of DWG file

I have a product that I created that has areas of personalization..

The product is oriented standing up in the Shapr3D file

when I import the new set of personalizations, I need to immediately rotate it 90 degrees, so that it is standing up (instead of laying down which is the default DWG import orientation)

also when I import the DWG file, it places the imports in a random spot on the canvas

so ofter I import the DWG file, rotate it 90 degrees to stand it up, then I have to use Transform > Translate to move my sketch to the 0.0 coordinate by choosing the lower left corner of my sketch and then choosing the 0,0 coordinate so that it moves my new sketch into position with the backer piece of my design that stays the same…

is there any way to automate either or both of these steps?

having to do each of these steps 20 or 30 times a day eats up time.. I’d like to streamline this if possible…

I’ve only been using this app for about 2 weeks now, so I know if have a lot to learn…

any other help suggestions would be appreciated..

First 2d CAD files always facing up, if you want to face front you have to rotate it 90. Can’t get around that.

As far as drawing is in random locations, I don’t believe they are random. They are at the location where the drawing was created not random. If you zero out the location in the CAD software it should come in more predictable.

I guess what I would do is at least zero out the location. If you open it in Adobe Illustrator you can group the drawing and zero x & y and maybe stack all your drawing and auto align to one corner.
