I am a leather worker that uses Shapr3D to design my products and often use images of object to design my products around. Currently I calibrate my image size by sketching a line to a specific dimension, then scaling the image so that the end points of the line match two predetermined points on the image. This takes a lot of time to get right hence why a better way to calibrate an image/file will increase my workflow. I have used fusion 360 in the past and they have a great way to calibrate images allowing you to select two points anywhere on the image then input the distance you would like the points on the image to be apart. It then scales your image symmetrically to the size you need it. In less than 5 clicks you’re done.
I expect this feature to speed up my workflow tremendously and allow me to create more accurate designs.
