Image overlay - transparency when selected

currently, if you have an image with a custom transparency value and you go to select the image again to adjust the position, the transparency is disregarded. in my example image, my image is set to about half transparency, and selecting it leaves me totally blind on where my adjustments are going to lie until i click away and unselect the image. this is tedious..

another suggestion is it would be nice to be able to fine nudge your adjustments instead of having to use the clunky arrow drag gui every time. mouse movements can require a lot of precision and a steady hand which i dont always have - arrow keys would solve this. you could even hold shift for finer grained movements or something.. just an idea.

thanks

Currently, when you work with an image that has a custom transparency value, selecting it again to adjust its position causes the transparency to be ignored. For example, if your image is set to about half transparency, selecting it makes it fully opaque, leaving you completely unsure of where your adjustments will actually be applied. You only regain the intended transparency once you click away and deselect the image, which makes the process tedious and frustrating.

I wrote a post of this some mont back.

Missing tool / feature:

  • Moving an imported reference picture keeping the Opacity!
    Use-case:
  • Need to make it work in correspondence to items.
    Workaround:
  • None. Trial and error.

Though the crude workaround is to move pict behind - back and forth - back and forth… (when feasible).
I have done a lot of overlays in my Hudson project, It would really make sense to keep the opacity.
