Yes. But you will need an Apple Pencil and an iPad Pro.

You have to press and drag to extrude. Have you seen the basic tutorials?
Check out #3, called “Basics”. Does the pressure meter work for you? If it doesn’t, there is might be something wrong with your pencil’s pressure sensitivity.
