Isocurve on body

Hi,
Revolution or Loft mode does not create visible seams.
Is it possible to create one isocurve or several myself?

May be with the split body tool , then project the edge to the plane what use for the split

Project works well for this but the resulting curve is not usable.

I projected a line directly onto the body.
How to use it as a curve alone. There is no copy and paste
